LINK

The Engine Room Gallery are excited to host LINK - Link collective's inaugural exhibition, opening 14th March 2013.

LINK are a diverse group of creative practitioners who came together to aid and support each other in the transition from art students to creative professionals. As a collective they seek to provide a consultancy and knowledge-based service to inspire individuals to progress in the creative field and fulfil their artistic potential. LINK do this by creating connections between creative people, places and professionals. By celebrating the varied array of creative talent within the city of Belfast, LINK hope to stimulate a creative dialogue and aid the accessibility of culture, visual arts and design – making ideas together.

This showcase is the first of many events to be held by LINK collective within the coming months. In April 2012, the group are holding a series of talks and public group discussions about artistic development and Belfast’s expanding contemporary creative merit. The intention is to provide a refreshing creative experience for the people of Belfast, in the aftermath of a challenging time for all communities. Further to this, LINK aim is to endorse the rich creative talent coming from Belfast, introduce opportunities, and in turn foster future creative enterprise.
Find LINK Collective on Facebook to keep up to date with upcoming events and further information.

The show will run through Saturday 30th March.
